Open the app, start a new round, pick your course and your crew, choose any side games (skins, Nassau, scramble, Vegas, and more), then keep score hole by hole. Add your playing partners and everyone in the group scores together in real time.

Bad Golf tracks friendly wagers so you don't have to do the math at the 19th hole — it tallies who owes who based on the games you picked. No money is collected, processed, or paid through the app. You settle up with your friends however you normally do (Venmo, cash, etc.).

Location powers the GPS rangefinder — distances to the front, center, and back of the green and to mapped targets — and the satellite course map. You can turn location off in your device settings; the GPS features stop, but the rest of the app keeps working.

Your rounds are backed up to the cloud and tied to your account. Open the Stats page and use the restore option, or email us and we'll help recover them.

You can delete your account and associated data from the account settings inside the app. You can also email us from the address on your account and we'll remove it for you.

In Settings you choose: Everyone, Friends only, or Just me. Change it any time.
