How Team Quota works

How it works: Even teams (2v2, 3v3, …). Each player earns points and carries a quota exactly like Quota. Team total = sum of each member's (points − quota). Higher team total wins.

Settlement: Per point — (Team A total − Team B total) × u/point, scored per player (zero-sum on even teams). Fixed prize pool — everyone puts in; the higher-total team splits the prize pool; ties refund.

Settlement: Team Quota is a prize pool game — everyone puts in the entry and the winning team splits the whole prize pool; a tie refunds every entry. Nothing settles until every hole is in. (Per-point settlement was retired in v1084: it awarded the full team margin to every player, so an 8-a-side blowout ran into hundreds of units a head. Rounds already game that way still settle on their original terms.)

In a tournament: the day's Team Quota is one whole-field game — Team A vs Team B across every cart group. Your group's Board shows the points; the Event Leaderboard is where the units settles, once.

Setup options: auto or manual quotas, entry, team picker. Always scored gross — the handicap is already in the 36 − handicap target, so applying strokes per hole as well would count it twice.

Requires even teams — an odd player count is blocked with a message.
